Yes I think it 's possible. I've found many calebrities' myspace, lots of them are just fans sites but there are spaces that called "the official site of .....". These could not be fake, are made from stars and their manager. Check for example Antonio Banderas' space or Jennifer Aniston's. Be careful, they have to write "the official space/site".

Some of the celebrity myspaces are just fakes put up by fans. Others are put up for the celebrity usually by someone on their staff or a staff member of their press agent and not usually the actual celebrity.

although they are not checking their myspace pages daily, obviously due to touring, recording, filming, etc., they are actually the ones on there... and it's impossible to talk back to every single fan, especially due to scheduling, and some celebs have over 500,000 ppl on their friends list, so sometimes (with a few select celebs) a close friend or helper of some sort, might be the ones sending messages... but that's rare... but for the most part if you find an artists "official" page... you're pretty much getting in touch with them. but good luck getting a message FROM them.

Yes, I know several cases from my personal expreriece. Sometimes it's just a joke of them to check out the public opinion about them, sometimes boredom (psychological) and someother times a real need to communicate.
