I'm 15 and into philosophy, physcology, astronomy, astrology, engineering, and designing..and my main base, music and its hard to find people my age who are into theses type of things..sure alot of people like music..but most of the people i found that do like or luv music only listen to one type of genre instead of expanding their music horizon..(like music from other countries different genres and such)..and no one my age is into philosophy or don't even know what it is..and are to affraid to think deep thoughts of life and the universe and our existance and such and its kind of a cut off to me because i don't like to talk about "teenage things" that i find boring and uninteresting..like artists, movies, tv shows, and movie stars...i like logical stuff..and stuff that takes thought..and can be put to use in the near future..i like people who like to expand their interest instead of staying on one thing forever. So i'm wondering is there a thing like myspace for sum one like me??

It may look a bit childish, but there are forums there for nearly anything, even music, science, religion, politics, sports, etc.

Sounds like you need to look into talking to people from MENSA. I don't know if there is a specific chat room for them, but there probably is. I just never looked.

As for the music thing, I don't know where you could go for that. I like multicultural music myself and I haven't found much compassion from the mainstream people I know since most are just as you described....stuck in one genre. My best form of success was to convert others to my other types of music, making my friends and fiance listen to what I like until it grew on them. I think most people just need to have that spark of interest ignited in them before they learn to appreciate new and different things. Some can never be converted, but many can eventually.

i'm not too sure...but nowadays, teens are really into facebook...i mean, EVERYONE has one...so i bet there's at least one person like you in there...

i find it very admirable how broad-minded you are--especially for a 15 year old! it's great that you find interest in these things...and it would be even better if all 15 year olds could think like this...however, most 15 year olds are into weird things nowadays...you know what i mean...and there's not much we can do about it...

personally, what i think you should do is concentrate on your studies...facebook myspace--it's only for people who have lots of time on their hands or they like to procrastinate...if you want to do something productive, something that you will definitely help you in the future...well, that would be your education...

This is more of a comment. I feel the same way as you. Most people don't have a wide variety of intrest or they all want to be the same thing as every one. I'm into pyscology and politics most people say i should let grownups worry about the political stuff. but then i would know about the goverment and the laws.
